Sometimes, it’s better to live a simple life. Maybe that’s why sojourning out to the wilderness is such an escape for so many people. It’s just you and the jungle, a human communing in nature, same as our ancestors 10,000 years in the past. It’s humbling to remember how small we are and how untamed the Earth can be when we lose ourselves far from the structures of civilization. This shirt is an homage to that reverie of wandering, of a simpler immaculate natural world on one of our blossom soft Triblend T-shirts.
Looking at the line work, the first thing you notice is how open and light it feels because of the thinness in the strokes. There’s also a very limited amount of detail; lines are used sparingly with mostly just the essential character of each flower and leaf captured. The shapes are more outline, but this careful holding back of extraneous line gives it a simple elegance that is almost ethereal in totality. Looking at it, you feel a certain gracefulness in how the ink isn’t overbearing on the senses even as the drawing is filled with varied subjects and the splendor of nature. The living biological forms of the plants pointedly contrast with the modernity of the sans-serif block letters. Because of the central placement and generous black ink, the letters become an anchor point for the eyes. Yet, the sheer biotic vibrance and diversity of the surrounding jungle tug at your gaze, mirroring the tension between the artificial manmade letters and the natural plants. Even the partial obscuring of parts of the letters by the foliage expresses this conflict, as each try to jockey for the viewer’s attention. It’s a struggle that goes back to the beginning of human history, when humans first began shaping the Earth with stick, stone, and fire. Overall, the drawing maintains realism while utilizing a bit of expressionist art direction–it feels fresh, clean, simple in a way that makes one nostalgic. The monotone color can be seen as an extension of this theme; it recalls a more uncomplicated, easy time. It looks, frankly, immaculate.
This design is tailored for our lighter colored T-shirts. We also have a version of the same design with white ink to match well on our darker colored T-shirts.
Perhaps you want to connect with nature. Maybe you want to center yourself and simplify your life. This is your shirt. Wear it and advocate for the immaculate.
The print is centered in the chest area and about 14 inches x 10 inches.

How to Care for Your Sweet Shirt
Machine wash cold inside out to protect the print, no bleach. Pretreatment may remain on your made-to-order shirt which will add a harder, rougher texture (it's to help the print look good), the first wash will remove it and make everything nice and soft. Tumble dry low. Iron low, but avoid print.Measurements in inches. Equivalent suit jacket sizes in parentheses for chest measurements.
