Description

Give me a home where this buffalo can roam, just like that anthem of the American West, Home on the Range, sings about. Bison are large symbols of unspoiled frontier and manifest destiny that captivate the imagination. These big boys also have some big appetites, which is why we have a particularly girthy example of the species rolling through one of our nap-on-the-open-range-soft Triblend T-shirts.

A mischievous expression crosses this hungry, hungry bison’s face as both a tangle of drool and long tongue hang outside of this bovine’s mouth. One eye reveals haughty focus on reaching a delectable morsel, perhaps a spot of clover grass, while the other eye pops open, dumbfounded, by the upcoming meal. It’s quite a silly face. The bison’s body has super exaggerated proportions with a highly circular shape emphasizing how much this creature loves food. It’s almost like it would be easier for this little buffalo to roll his way around. This jolly bison clutches a small fork and knife, a lighthearted addition that emphasizes the animal’s readiness for his next meal. The art follows a simplified, exaggerated cartoon style that exudes humor. Minimal texturing is applied with shading applied in semi-opaque bodies. The angular fur outlines contrast with the overall rounded shape, with small details like the utensils and face features adding personality to the piece. Brown dominates the artwork, with accents of white, gray, black, pink, and light blue.

Do you need an eating shirt? Because this hungry hungry bison would be the ideal mascot for the shirt you wear to gluttonous occasions. It’s about the freedom to eat a pound or ten of prime beef at the all-you-can-eat korean barbecue joint or the unabashed manifest destiny that is a Vegas style buffet Smörgåsbord. Industrial strength eating awaits you!

This circular shaped print is centered on the chest and measures about 13 inches x 16 inches.

Sizing & Fit

model wearing triblend t shirt
Fashion slim fit follows the body gently without being too tight or too loose. Just right, we'd say.
Our shirts have a slimmish, tapered fit that isn't too tight or too loose. Slim fit varies a lot between brands, but we'd consider this in the slim family, with enough roominess to be comfortable. Some call this fashion slim fit or semi-fitted.
Protip: Prefer something with a roomier fit? Just order 1 size up!

How to Care for Your Sweet Shirt

Machine wash cold inside out to protect the print, no bleach. Pretreatment may remain on your made-to-order shirt which will add a harder, rougher texture (it's to help the print look good), the first wash will remove it and make everything nice and soft. Tumble dry low. Iron low, but avoid print.
