Nothing matches the feeling of warm sand between the toes, cool sea salt scented breezes blowing in, as you lounge back on a sun drenched beach of a tropical island, fresh drink in hand. Along with the coconut, pineapples are probably the most iconic bounties of tropical paradise you can find. If you’ve ever been somewhere with pineapples fresh off the tree, you already know how ambrosia sweet and juicy these fruits can be. We’ve got ourselves a touch of paradise here with a funky pineapple on one of our caressingly soft Triblend T-shirts.

There’s a purposeful decision here in making the leaves such a huge part of the art, bigger than the actual fruit. The spiky, elongated leaves are reminiscent of ocean-side palm trees, the flower of a bird of paradise, or just your run-of-the-mill Jurassic sized tropical foliage. Illustrated in a semi-realistic style, the colors take a flight of fancy with a kaleidoscopic explosion of cyans, blues, violets, pinks, reds, and golds in the top-center of the pineapple leaves. The colors are almost Fauvist in their funky, saturated, brilliance, like the idealized bursts of color found throughout tropical culture. It’s a pretty pineapple! You’ll also notice a slight light bloom haziness around the colors, further emphasizing the tropical dream state of the piece.

Our shirts have a slimmish, tapered fit that isn't too tight or too loose. Slim fit varies a lot between brands, but we'd consider this in the slim family, with enough roominess to be comfortable. Some call this fashion slim fit or semi-fitted.

How to Care for Your Sweet Shirt

Machine wash cold inside out to protect the print, no bleach. Pretreatment may remain on your made-to-order shirt which will add a harder, rougher texture (it's to help the print look good), the first wash will remove it and make everything nice and soft. Tumble dry low. Iron low, but avoid print.
